Pet care experience
I am a professional biologist with 3 years experience caring for fish professionally, I have a small hobby farm with chickens, ducks, rabbits sheep and goats, along with my German shepherd and Belgian malinois/German shepherd and our cat. I have cared for at least one dog all the years of my life. My experience with a wide variety of animal species and my background as a wildlife biologist and as a human caregiver make me uniquely knowledgeable and intuitive regarding animal care.

Shaylee is a very caring and conscientious person who has been an animal lover all her life. She has always had pets and has been right there to pitch in when a family memeber or friend needed someone to care for their pet when they were gone. Anyone needing someone to help with caring for their pet couldn't do any better than Shaylee, she will treat them like her own.

I have experience with housekeeping and pet care, which means I know how important it is to keep your home and property safe, secure and cleanly. I routinely exercise my dogs with fetch and off-leash walks, and also socialize them on and off leash around people and other animals such as at breweries and dog parks. We also do obedience training. We cuddle on the couch and wrestle, but I understand that each pet and owner will have unique training preferences and I can accommodate any training reinforcement preferences or play preferences. I also have experience with the unique personalities and care requirements of small animals and/or aquatic species. I am also interested in farm sitting as well, with sufficient experience around large livestock and extensive experience with poultry. I will feed and brush your horses, llamas, ponies, donkeys, chickens, ducks, turkeys, rabbits, anything really. I am fond of taking care of all animals.

A typical day
I love walking dogs in parks and hiking with them on trails. I also love playing off leash at the dog park or on our 3 acre property. Fetch is my favorite game for high energy dogs, but I also know some dogs prefer tug and we like that too, if it's appropriate. Walking around town is just fine, and canyon lake and the dog park are great, beautiful places to get out.
