Pet care experience
Pet care has always been a passion of mine. When I was 14 years old, I began babysitting for the families that lived on my street. I ended up babysitting for two families that each had dogs; one was a puppy and untrained and one was quite elderly and required a bit of assistance. Both pups had their own challenges but that made the experience so much more wonderful. I, myself, have two dogs now as well as a five year old cat. I have plenty of experience in working with animals of all ages and I am open to more exotic pets such as reptiles and amphibians.

Lovely experience with Shay
Shayla used to care of my dog, Sassy, about twice a week until she moved out of town. I can definitely say I was highly satisfied with her performance. I never had an issue with her and Sassy seemed to always come home satisfied.
I first met Shayla when she was a freshman in highschool. I originally asked her to watch my two girls as a babysitter, but I also let her know that our puppy, Lilly would require a bit of attention as well. Seeing how well she worked with her own new dog, I felt very confident in her ability to care for Lilly as well. Lilly absolutely adored Shayla, and she always seemed a bit more behaved when she was around her. I originally hoped for my girls to be the ones to train her, but given that they had no clue exactly how to train a puppy, Shayla stepped in and made sure that they knew how to give her basic commands. Within a month, Lilly was potty trained on a pad and within three, she was no using the pad at all. I can honestly say that Shayla made an amazing impact on Lilly and my girls and we miss having her around the house.

I would just like to know beforehand if any of your pets have any defensive qualities. It won't stop me from accepting a booking, but it will help me better understand and bond with your pet. It'll allow me to better recognize how to approach them, how to gain their trust, and to show them that they've got mine.
A typical day
Luckily for you and your pup, you've got an energetic 24 year old at your service! Since I've joined the military, I've been much more active that ever before. Long walks are a passion of mine and we can even kick things up a notch and go for a jog here and there. There are dog parks near me that I'm sure your furry companion would love and I would love nothing more than to make sure that they have the time of their lives while under my care.

Availability
I am an active duty service member stationed at Ft Gordon so my availability is only guaranteed for weekends. However, I can provide drop in visits and care throughout the week if my schedule permits. I will always be sure to notify you in advance if I am unable to make it M-F due to work.
