I have been taking care of dogs since I was in the third grade. When I was eight, my parents got my sister and I an American Boxer who we were responsible for feeding, walking, bathing, etc. When I turned eighteen, I joined the Navy, and I was well-trusted among my coworkers to watch their pets while they were on leave or on vacation. Not only do I have the experience, but I have the heart. I truly believe that dogs are a gift from heaven, and one day all my children will have four legs. You can be assured that when I take care of your pet, I will go above and beyond walking and feeding them, but they will receive the love and care they deserve, and hopefully won't even notice you're gone!

This was the first time my wife and I had used Rover so we were very anxious about what we were getting into and having someone unfamiliar to us stay in our home. Overall, we were very happy with Shayla and can't say enough positive things here. We plan to use her again in the future. Shayla took the time to come over and interview with my wife and I giving us a chance to get to know her. Shayla always communicated quickly with us while we were on our trip and gave us updates. She was also nothing short of an exceptional house guest. Our home was clean and taken care of upon our arrival home. I highly recommend her.
Shayla was wonderful watching my 2 dogs for a couple nights. They both really liked her right away as she is very friendly and definitely a "dog person". Would strongly recommend her but hopefully she won't be too busy as she would be my first choice in the future.
Instantly when shayla came by on the day of her first night the animals immediately reacted in a positive way! Shayla was sitting playing with them with love and care with in minutes. We were nervous about having someone stay in our home but there isn't a doubt by finding Shayla that we found a trust worthy and RELIABLE pet sitter. She sent pics and replied within minutes if we had a question or follow up on how our animals were doing. I would highly recommend her to anyone!
I have already seen Shayla take care of multiple animals for family and friends (mostly dogs and cats). She has a true love for animals that is evident in the way she treats them and takes care of them. I have also seen multiple examples that speak to her responsibility and trustworthiness. I wouldn't hesitate to trust Shayla with my pets and neither should you!
