Experienced in providing pet care!
Pet care experience
Hi there, thank you for your interest in my services! I've been providing services on Rover for about 5 years now and I've been in various pet care positions for about 12 years. My experience includes humane society work, professional bathing, and more. I've worked with pups of all sizes and many temperaments. I do my best to get back to folks quickly, however, messages after 8pm will be responded to in the morning. Thank you so much for your patience! I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your furbabies! Sending me a request and setting up a meet & greet with me will always be free. If you like to plan ahead and would like to book months in advance, I'm happy to do so.
Reviews
Shayla was amazing. Communicated very well and was respectful. Would recommend 💯
Shayla saved our vacation! When family backed out in caring for our pets, she stepped right up. One of our dogs is aggressive when first meeting him, but she kept at it until they were best of friends by the end. She put our mind at ease day 1 of caring for them. We wil definitely be using her again in the future.
She was prompt, communicative, and took great care of our fur babies! 10/10 would book again!
We’re very happy with the care Shayla provided for our dogs

Rover Policy: "Disclose security cameras and other recording devices in or around your home. They are prohibited in private areas, such as bedrooms and bathrooms that you have designated for the use of your pet care provider. You are responsible at all times for the legal and appropriate use of your cameras and recording devices." Florida Law: Florida is an ALL PARTY CONSENT state for both audio and video. "In Florida, when there is an expectation of privacy, all parties have to consent to a recording for it to be legal. Consequently, secretly recording someone without their knowledge is a third-degree felony offense... Further, it can lead to facing civil penalties and punitive damages."

Any special needs are the most important. New clients, please remember meet & greets are important and usually necessary for pet comfort, as well as, pet parent and sitter comfort. It's good to know who we're working with. Please, plan ahead! If your furbaby is uncomfortable with new people, we may need to spend extra time before the sitting to ensure they aren't anxious with you away.
A typical day
Typically, if I'm pet sitting at someone's home, I will also have drop ins during the day. For this reason, pets of sittings must be okay for 4-6hrs alone. Any instructions about routine written down by the pet parent will be greatly appreciated and followed as specified. Medications given as instructed, commands, as well as treats and feeding times.

Availability
I am fully committed to caring for pets on a daily basis and am genuinely grateful for the opportunity to do so! To ensure smooth scheduling, please reach out at least 4 days before drop-in dates, with a preference for 2 weeks in advance for sitting requests. I do accept last minute request, but please be mindful! Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
