Hi there! I am a small-animal health student with a passion for felines.😸 Cats have taught me so much over the years, so I return the favor with attentive at-home cat care. Kitties are not crazy about change but you can trust that they appreciate a loving & dependable sitter in your place. With my education and experience working with rescues and holistic practitioners, I am well versed in their traits and needs. Another wonderful cat sitting experience with Shay! She takes such excellent care of my 2 cats and provides thoughtful daily reports. She makes sure they have plenty of food and fresh water, clean litter, playtime and even played them some holiday tunes 🎵🤗. I know my girls are always in great hands with Shay and there’s no need to worry whenever I’m out of town. We’re so grateful for Shay and I’d book her again in a heartbeat!

After booking, I ask owners to complete their Rover profile or fill out my quick pet-questionnaire (check out my photo gallery for a sample). It will go over your pet's daily routine, common behaviors, diet, restrictions, no-touch zones, any medical issues, favorite spots, etc. We can discuss all of this at the first meet & greet!
A typical day
My House sitting rate reflects a 12 hour/overnight period of consistent care (e.g. 7pm-7am). We can discuss your needs to guarantee 2 meal feedings. Additional fees may apply beyond the 12 hours. Visits include: Bringing in mail (upon request), Basic plant watering, & Removal of trash. Return to your home relaxed. Please note: I work with “indoor-only” cats with the exception of catio-friendly homes. Please feel free to reach out to discuss your needs! Your unique situation is considered on a case-by-case basis.
