Pet care experience
I have been caring for others' cats and dogs for 8+ years including walkings, feedings, overnight sittings, and administering medicine. I have volunteered with many animal shelters throughout my adulthood and have worked prior at a doggy daycare overseeing groups of mixed age and energy dogs at a time. Currently, I'm using Rover to fulfill my desire to be around more animals! I have one kitty myself -a white haired boy named Billy. He is an independent indoor/outdoor cat, and while waiting to buy a house with a yard before I adopt a dog of my own, I am finding myself craving being around more pets! I am passionate about animals and understand, as an owner, how special pets are to us. With that in mind, taking the best care and being as safe as I can with them is my priority.

I typically do not bring pets to my home as I have a cat who is not socialized with dogs. When I am out caring for others' animals, I never take more than two animals on at a time, so I can guarantee that I'm giving enough quality time to all of my furry clients. If I'm coming to your home, I will always recommend a meet and greet beforehand, so that we can get comfortable and you can show me your routine so I can stick to it as best as I can! I'll send you pictures throughout my visits to keep you up-to-date with your best friend.

A typical day
I am a pretty active person, so if I’m watching a dog for a longer duration of time and the dog is able to, I love going on hikes! If not, I’m a big fan of spending time at parks or on smaller trails. I love spending an afternoon walking around town with a pup and people-watching.

I work remotely and have a flexible schedule throughout the day, which allows me to be available to pet-sit pretty often! I like to build in breaks to my daily work time, so walking a pup around the block for you is a win-win for me.
