Pet care experience
Hi my name is Shawna, I am a pet lover as I attend Western Kentucky University for animal science. I have been a primary pet owner since a very young age and have cared for neighboring animals while their owners were away on vacation on numerous occasions. I worked under my local vet's office for nearly two years as an assistant and care taker; as well as, volunteered as often as possible at our local animal shelter. Currently I have one dog of my own named Zeke who is a German Shepard and hes my child. She is well trained in both standard pet commands and sign language. Overall, I am truly an animal lover, oftentimes more than people, and would love to care for your animals.

Amazing place. Shawna is very dog focused. She has 2 dogs of her own and they go to the dog park and play. Felt happy knowing my puppy was having as much fun as I was while we were apart
Shawna was very professional, punctual and easy to work with. She loved our pup as her own and kept her very active, gave her lots of attention and sent us frequent updates. We could not have asked for a better sitter for our pup and hope we can use her again in the future!
Shawna did a great job with my 3 large dogs while I was away recently. My children were helping with the care of the dogs and I asked her to ensure they were fed and taken outside in the evening and one morning. All went well and they were happy when I got home. The photos help to put a dog momma at rest, especially when I'm 1600 miles away. Thank you Shawna! I will be rebooking Shawna as I travel frequently.

I would appreciate knowing the activity level of the dog, any medical conditions, any aggressive behavior towards other animals, any fears or discomforts, as well as any special instructions. None of these are two prevent me from caring for your dog but rather to allow me to better care for them. And no, I have no breed restrictions, even pitbulls have loving hearts.
A typical day
There are a few dog parks in Bowling Green I have found, but also a few dog friendly hiking trails and even dog friendly public parks I would enjoy taking walks at I have a multitude of ideas such as walks, runs, frisbee, fetch, tag, car rides, doggy massages, and even some couch time. I would rather base the activities on the dog rather than myself or the time so they are more comfortable.
