The first time I left my dog with Shawna was a good experience. She assured me that my dog would be well watched outdoors because he is a runner and her yard isn’t fully fenced. She allowed her young kids to go outside with my dog without adult supervision and my dog was roaming the streets for nearly an hour. She did not bother to message me to inform me but instead my friends and family were tagging me in posts on Facebook posts of photos of my dog roaming the streets. She told me she was going to refund me for this stay and she never did. And she was getting rude with me because my friend took my dog from her kid who caught him because they didn’t know who was watching my dog and didn’t want him stolen and wanted him to be safe. I have also been informed that her own dogs roam the neighbourhood and has had the humane society called on them a few times. Please be careful with who you leave your dogs with!
This was Shilos first weekend away from home and I was a little nervous about it but Shawna and her boys took real good care of him and sent lots of updates and pictures! When we need a sitter again I will definitely be requesting her again!
Shawna was fantastic with my dog! She made sure he was comfortable in her home before hand with a visit, she also sent pictures of the fun time he had. Definitely would recommend and I will be coming back.
Shawna was amazing! Very accommodating, we had to change drop off time multiple times due to unfortunate circumstances. Sent me updates and photos of Lux despite been there for a short period of time. We will definitely book with her again . If we’re back in town.
