Hey there! Throughout college I was a temporary, emergency foster for a local rescue. I cared for 5 week old puppies all the way to senior pups before falling for my baby, Leo! I live in an apartment near the oceanfront. With me your pup will take lots of long walks and get plenty of play time! I work full-time, but I am typically only in the office from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm or 2:00 pm on Fridays. Leo's a big dog who loves other dogs of all sizes. He's very excitable and loves playing, so if you have a high energy dog they'll get lots of play time in. However, I have a dachshund mix at home who's 13 years old, and Leo always respects his boundaries. So, if you have an older dog who doesn't feel up to playing all the time, that's cool too! Overall this was a great experience. Shawna is a sweet person and took amazing care of my dog, Auzzie. Leo was a great influence on Auzzie and I could tell he enjoyed his visit. I will book with Shawna again and also recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter. She's great!

Shawna was very prompt and responsible. I felt confident that my dog was in good hands while out of town. I own two cats that are self sufficient as long as I leave out plenty of food and water. Although I hired Shawna to drop in to care for my dog, I liked that she also sent photos and reassured me the cats were doing fine too. Shawna also payed close attention to my dog and notified me of a small spot behind her ear. Would definitely hire her again!
