Pet care experience
I have had a pet in my home for most of my life. My dogs have all been older and/or rescues -- Shepard mix, Black Lab, Red Bone Coonhounds and a Bull Mastiff. My dogs are part of the family and there is nothing I wouldn't do for them. My pet sitting experience is diverse! Recently I had 3 little dogs (2 Chihuahuas and a Pomeranian) stay with me for a week. One was on a special diet and has no teeth! On the other end of the spectrum, I have also taken care of 2 Dobermans -- at their home and in mine. I am retired from the Air Force and other positions, thus I have plenty of time to devote to taking care of your special family member. I have a very patient and responsible personality....and did I mention...I love animals! Any pet entrusted to my care is treated like they are my own. To ensure you and your furry family member will be comfortable with me, I like to schedule a Meet & Greet prior to committing to care for your pet.

Shawn does a phenomenal job watching our kitties! Our cats are not ones who take to strangers well but they warmed right up to her! Plus she does a fantastic job while watching them!
Shawn took great care of our elderly cat that needs to use an inhaler. She provided updates on how things were going and ended up taking care of unexpected things (cat throw up, roomba got stuck, and a package arrived). I highly recommend her and will use her services again!
She was so dedicated and motivated to help us out while we were out of town. We have three shy kitties, one of which is very shy, but Shawn was able to make sure they all ate, sent pics, and kept tabs on them all. She communicated with us every day, keeping us apprised of how they were doing. She spent time playing with our lesser shy kitties, who she eventually won over. She definitely went out of her way to take care of the shy kitten that is utterly afraid of strangers to make sure she didn't go hungry or let the others steal her food. The extra effort was much appreciated.
Shawn took great care of our old dog, walking her and petting her. Our dog was glad to see him s when we got home, but clearly had not been feeling unloved while we were away.
