Hello pet Parents! I know how stressful it can be trying to find the perfect pet sitter for your beloved fur babies, I’ve been there too. Upon hiring me, you are getting someone who is fully committed to ensuring the safety, health and happiness of your beloved pets, in addition to the security of your home. I am a lover of all kinds of fur babies, from kitties, to bunnies, to horses, to the tiniest of pups, to the largest breeds of dogs. While I enjoy taking care of pets immensely, I also take my job as a pet sitter seriously. I am Cat and Dog First Aid and CPR Certified, I'm a proud member of Pet Sitters International, and unlike most part-time pet sitters, I carry my own pet sitter liability insurance and bonding (in addition to what Rover covers). I've grown up around cats and dogs such as Maine Coons, Ragdolls, Persians, Siamese, Labrador Retrievers, German Shepherds, Doberman Pinschers, and Keeshonds and am comfortable around any breed of dog. I was the proud parent of a pure bred male Boxer, The Colonel, for the past decade, whom I adopted from a local shelter. He made such an impact on me that I became a volunteer at the shelter where I adopted him! I lost my beautiful boy in 2019 and have since adopted a new beautiful Boxer baby girl named Kobi. She is an absolute sweetheart and the heartbeat of my home. Whenever I’m booked on overnight pet sits she is watched over by her beloved Nana, who of course, spoils her rotten ;) I truly enjoy walking, training, playing and bonding with all types of animals. I understand that a tired dog is a happy dog. As long as your pets are in good health I will make it my mission to vigorously play with them in hopes of tiring them out. However, I also understand that activity requirements vary depending upon various breeds and that animals at more advanced ages require different levels of physical activity. So I’ll carefully evaluate each pet’s personal circumstances before engaging in vigorous activity, which I’ll be happy to discuss with you at our Meet & Greet. I also have experience with senior dogs and am comfortable administering oral and topical medications. Good communication is a key factor in hiring the right pet sitter. I will always maintain a consistent, thorough level of communication with you whenever your pets are in my care. I watch over and engage with each animal carefully and will always provide thorough reports on your pet’s behaviors and any potential issues I notice around your home. I also recognize that pets are a part of the family and need love and attention when their pet parents are away. A huge focus of my caregiving focuses around establishing caring bonds with your pets. Since I will be entering your home, it’s critical that I establish nurturing bonds with your animals so they’ll feel comfortable, safe and secure in my presence. Upon hiring me, you may feel secure knowing that your beloved fur babies will be thoughtfully looked after by an attentive, reliable, caring and trustworthy pet sitter.
