I think I have a calming effect on dogs. My previous pet was a rescue dog who had a difficult time trusting most people, but she instantly felt comfortable with me. I'm a very calm and gentle person and dogs immediately pick up on that. They have a sixth sense, when it comes to people and I'm happy to say they look upon me favorably. There are very few things in the world that can top the unconditional love of a dog.
