My cat Sampson is a 12 year old 18lb Bombay, mini panther. He needs a lot of attention, one of the closest breeds to being a dog. Of course I work so much he is often left alone. My friend of 18 years, Shawn, came to live with me for the summer. In exchange for rent he had to keep Sam company. His breed requires a lot of attention and I often feel terrible about his loneliness. Shawn is very gentle and calm. I could tell Sam was much more confident and less anxious after a few days. Since then Sam has gone to live with grandma and grandpa who's cat of 18 years just passed away. If you have a breed that requires a lot of attention I highly recommend Shawn. He is very calm and present.
