Hi, my name is Shavonna and I’ve been on Rover since the beginning of Spring 2019. I’m 30yrs old and I live in Rock Hill SC, and I have two boys 2yr and 9yr old. I love working with animals, it’s my passion other than being caring to my two boys. I went to school for veterinary assistant and have a certification to help animals or to take care of them. I treat animals is like they was my own. I’m very sweet and gentle when it comes to someone pet and if you let me I can show you how a good pet sitter I can be! My skills are is to let the pet know that I’m in control because sometimes the pet might run over you, so you have to show them who’s boss. Any other way I will not neglect the animal nor abuse, I feel that’s an awful thing to do! Like I said you have to treat the animals as just as if was my own because they are human beings just in a different way!

Shavonna was very nice and let us know how our puppy was adjusting while we were out of town! She sent us pictures to reassure everything was going well! We really appreciate her caring for our puppy so well, especially for her first time away from home!
This was our first time leaving our small dog with Shavonna. Prior to the sitting day, we had a meet/greet. Shavonna is very friendly and courteous and has the perfect home with a backyard for small dogs. During the 4 day stay, she kept in touch with us with text messages and pictures. We dropped of a happy little dog and 4 days later picked up a happy little dog!!! We will definitely use her services again and would highly recommend her.
Shavonna was wonderful! We had to board Figaro for a whole week and I was extremely nervous. She was very accommodating and sent daily picture updates that helped me feel at ease. She was also very patient and helpful when our pickup plans were delayed due to our flight being delayed. She made a very stressful situation so much easier and I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for sitting services.
Shavonna is such a caring person. I forgot to bring an item to Shavonna’s house for my dog and she went out and bought it. I’m so happy to know my fur baby is in good hands.

A typical day
I can walk the dogs in our neighborhood it’s pretty big! Also I can make sure to watch them in my backyard if they are trained not to escape since my fenced is halfway and not fully fenced!
