Pet care experience
We are a super dog friendly family with two young friendly dogs of our own. Our dogs are a very important part of our family, and they love having other dogs around to play with. They love dogs of all sizes, but they seem to love large and giant breeds the most. I would love to host your dog in our home while you are away. I work M-F, so there some time during the week when no one is home, but between myself, my partner and our teen aged children, there is usually only a 4 hr. period of time where nobody is home. Our youngest dog is in his crate during that time and our 4 year old is free to roam loose in the house. Our two teenagers have taken care of dogs their whole lives, and are home by 2:30 pm. We have a large yard that is fenced on three sides, where we play with the dogs when we can supervise them, and a completely fenced in dog run with additional yard space to run, which they can access using the doggy door. I am also available to stay with your dog at his/her home on weekends or to drop in to your home during the week before and after work. I am comfortable with giving medication or assisting with any other needs your dog may have

Our dog loves going here and Shauna and her family are very loving with our golden retriever. I honestly feel like he gets his own mini vacation when we go on vacation.
My planned dog sitter had an emergency and had to cancel. I was nervous to leave my energetic, somewhat difficult dog with a new sitter for over a week. Shauna took him in and gave him the space and exercise he needed. He responded very well to that and had a good stay!
We had Shauna and her family watch our 2-year-old Malamute for 3 nights recently. Shauna was excellent with communication throughout the whole visit and beforehand. After the initial meet-and-greet, I felt very comfortable leaving Noel with Shauna. And in the end, our pup had a great time at her house and playing with her dogs, and came back home at the end of the trip in good spirits and nicely tired out. We will happily seek out Shauna in the future for more dog sitting needs.
