Pet care experience
School teacher looking for a fun way to earn some extra cash in the summer and on some weekends/evenings during the school year. During summer break I am available for drop-ins and walks pretty much any time of day. I have been caring for animals through Rover for several years and have a dog and two cats of my own. My dog has been with us since he was a puppy and we did quite a bit of formal training with him so I feel pretty confident in my dog and puppy handling skills.

I typically do more drop-in visits than boarding & day care these days and have a strong track record of making sure your house and pets are secure while you’re away. I am always happy to provide pictures of your pet each visit as well as bring mail or packages inside (if I can carry them!) and water a few houseplants. (If you have a lot of plants that need watering, I’d be happy to do it but may request a small additional fee.) If you don’t require a full 30 minute visit, I usually offer a bit of a discount on those drop-ins —just ask! Information updated 6/27/23

A typical day
There are parks nearby and plenty of walkable streets, so we would get plenty of exercise. Hiking or trips to the dog park may be arranged with owner's approval.

Availability
While I don’t do a ton of boarding or day care at the moment(I’m in the process of selling my house, so I can’t risk it!), I’m available for evening and weekend walks and drop-in visits pretty much year-round. In the summer my schedule is much more flexible. During parts of the summer I will be available to house sit in your home, but may need to bring my dog with me.
