Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of small and medium dogs since I was a kid. I just got out of the military which means I have pet sat in my home for 7+ years now because military members are always traveling. I have sat with Rover since March 2022. I am very active and walk regularly! I also am a distance runner so if you have a dog that can put some miles in I am willing to run them.

Shaun and his wife did an excellent job keeping Grizzy. They went out of their way to get Grizzy to eat because she was missing her Granddad. Shaun sent us updates and pictures daily. We will be using them again.
Not only did they graciously accommodate a last minute request, they were patient and understanding with a few changes. I could tell from the earliest pictures that our baby was having the BEST time. They gave timely updates and pictures/videos and truly put us at ease throughout the stay. Will definitely request them again!
Rosie loves Shaun and Lauren’s house so much! They are such great communicators and we never use another sitter!
Shaun has continued to be a trusted and reliable sitter. He sends me daily pics and videos of my dog being loved on and playing with other dogs. It always makes me so happy to know my dog is having as much fun on his vacation as I am.

I care for my pets by daily play sessions, regular walks, and loving cuddle sessions (if they allow it). Pets are allowed on furniture. I’m willing to accommodate any extra care as well such as brushing, medicine needs, or senior dog care. I do my best to put every pet in their normal routine such as if they sleep in the crate in the bedroom then that’s what I’ll do, if they sleep in a gated open area than I can do that, or if they sleep in bed that’s allowed too. Other examples are feeding times, human food allowance, off or on furniture, and potty routines, all of which I try to give them what they are used too. I watch the dogs the entire time they’re outside and I also separate during feeding times.

Let me know if your dog has any special need I need to account for. I am very open to dogs and their needs so feel free to just ask if I can accommodate! ⁉️Booking Details ⁉️ 1. Please ensure you input an accurate window of drop off and pick up times in your request 2. I ask for meet and greets with every dog but if unable I will make a phone call suffice on a case by case basis. This time will be to judge how our dogs interact and for each of us to ask and answer any questions we may have. 3. All dogs must be up to date on all shots (including kennel cough and preferably flu) and have flea and tick prevention. 4. Please tell me your pets typical feeding, pottying, and bedtime routines. Also tell me command verbiage that they know so I can adequately use them. 5. Does your pet have any special behaviors or issues to watch out for? Ex: barking, digging, escaping, chewing, eating things outside, separation anxiety, unique bathroom alerting, etc. 6. You must confirm your dog is house trained. If your pet goes to the bathroom inside more than once when they have had ample opportunities outside (every 2 hours or less) then I will charge the puppy/non-house trained rate. A typical day
I will run, walk, fetch, or play tug of war. I do anything with your pets that keeps them happy and gets their energy out. If they are nappers then we can do that as well lol. I am a distance runner if any dog has very high energy and needs to get many miles out. I like to run/walk Shelby farms and wolf river trails. I even take some of my regulars to Shelby forest for hikes.

Availability
Pet care fits well into my routine. I go on daily walks and have a fenced in yard. I’m used to waking up early (0530am) for dogs with early schedules. My wife works from home and is available all throughout the day for any level of frequency for potty breaks, walks, medicine, or attention. Many days I myself am home all day with the pets as well. In the chance that we both have to leave the pets at home it is never longer than just a couple hours and we separate all dogs based on households.
