Building my lifelong wolfpack 🐾

Pet care experience

🐾SEEKING: Lonely 4-legged friends 🐾 I recently returned to my upstate NY roots & plan to settle here for the long haul after spending my 20s living in NYC & traveling the world. It would be an honor to spoil your doggos while you travel (or even when you just need a day to yourself)! I strive to leave both your pets & your home in better condition than I found them. If your pet is boarding with me, you can expect them to be loved & doted on like a grandparent would spoil their first grand baby. HISTORY & EXPERIENCE: I've been dog sitting for 3 years, and prior to that, I was a very proud CORGI momma. I'm comfortable & experienced with rescues, fosters, seniors, and special needs dogs. I am also happy to work with pair bonded pets for families with >1 dog. I am open to dogs of any size (and shape). Caveat: If your fur baby chases or pulls hard while on leash, they must be <100 lbs due to my size and the laws of physics. MY SITTER PERSONALITY: I let your dog set the energy... we can chill on the couch, hike, play nonstop fetch, tug, or any mix in between. Dogs naturally bring out my intuitive & empathetic personality traits, and I find that I'm able to communicate and share love with dogs in a way that is not always accessible in human:human relationships. So it is my hope that your dog will feel as seen & loved by me as I feel by them. PS- I’m also happy to take care of your cats or any other pets that need TLC while you’re away, plants included! 🌱

Sharon watched our dog for 10 days while we went on vacation. Our longest we’ve ever left her. Sharon stayed in one home and made sure Wrigley was comfortable and had all the attention in the world. We would highly recommend her for any services! Thanks Sharon!!

Sharon was amazing!! We had never left our 2 Goldens with a dogsitter before. From the moment Sharon came into our house to do the initial meet and greet with the dogs, we felt totally comfortable leaving Bear and Louie in her care. And our dogs loved her as soon as they met her. Sharon followed all of our quirky little routines with our dogs and sent us updates and pictures the whole time that we were gone. We can not say enough good things about Sharon and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter. Bear and Louie are looking forward to Sharon coming to stay with them again:)

Sharon is absolutely wonderful. I could tell from the first time she met my dog Sacha that she has a lot of experience with animals and truly loves dogs. She made me feel confident that my baby was in great hands when I was away. She even helped him celebrate his birthday with a little photo shoot and a special treat. I can’t say enough good things about Sharon and would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter.

Non-smoking household
Has no pets
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Information Sharon R. would like to know about your pet

(I love all breeds but corgis are my kryptonite.) I’d like to know your pups age, temperament, any health issues. Also important to know if they are “runners” so I can set appropriate leash rules for playtime, ie: squirrel chasing, mud hunting, the usual.

A typical day

Exploring town, and meeting new friends- both 2 and 4 legged. Midday walk/hike for boarders. Dog parks (with owners permission). Afternoon couch naps if your pup is tuckered out.

Availability

My daily schedule is flexible so I can keep your pup on their routine of choice. I will be with your dog 24/7 minus the occasional grocery store run. I prefer being with them 24/7 since they’re already dealing with missing their family. So they can cling to me (emotionally & physically) until your return.
