*Fully vaccinated. 🐾 All animals touch my heart and giving them care and security while you are away is my goal. I adore dogs and cats equally. Our cats and dogs always loved each other. Senior, hospice and special needs pets will be tenderly cared for. Open to all domestic animals. I've grown up with a variety of animals, both large and small, and have cared for various sizes, ages and needs from puppies to elderly dogs needing nursed through their final days. Sadly, after losing my latest dog, Becka, and having to re-home precious cats, I have had to make the difficult decision to not keep my own pets at this time. Gladly, there are many beloved pets still needing care and love. My physical pain limits me to dogs who need minimal walking, and are gentle. Please ask if unsure. Dispensing medications, special diets, or other special needs are included if required. House sitting and some plant care are also included. I'm looking forward to spending time with your beloved pets, helping them to feel safe, fed and loved while you are away, putting both you and them at ease.

If you are looking for a caring and dependable person to house-sit and pet-sit, you need look no further than Sharon. This was my first experience with Rover.com, and I reached out to Sharon because her bio mentioned her experience with older pets and administering medication. I found Sharon to be a warm, gentle person, and very conscientious. She took wonderful care of my elderly dachshund in my home for a week. When we first met, she took great care to understand, not only the basics such as feeding and medications, but also my dog's daily routines, the little things that make her happy and bring continuity to her day. I observed that Sharon had a very gentle approach that my dog readily responded to. I had great peace of mind knowing that she was with my dog in the dog's familiar surroundings while I was gone. Sharon also took care of things in the home--watering plants, getting the mail, taking in packages that have been dropped off. I will not hesitate to contact Sharon again for my house/pet-sitting needs in the future, and I highly recommend her to everyone!

I cannot say enough good things about Sharon and the care she gave to our cat Charlie. Shortly before our vacation we found out that he was not in the best of health, which caused me great anxiety. I was tempted to cancel our trip but after talking with Sharon I felt comfortable enough to go. She was so gentle, kind, loving, and compassionate toward Charlie. She texted me pictures of him while we were away to ease my mind about his condition and I could tell he was being very well cared for and was receiving lots of love. Shortly after our return, Charlie’s health continued to decline and after 15 years we had to say goodbye to our sweet boy. If he were still alive, Sharon would absolutely be our first choice to stay with Charlie. My only regret is that I didn’t meet her earlier in his life. You will be hard pressed to find someone as caring as she is toward your pets. We highly recommend her.

I am currently freelancing after life events forced a career change. 🐾 Healthcare and teaching have always been my life and now I’m taking it a little slower. Pet care, hospice care and occasional teaching allows me to be flexible with my schedule and make time for you and your beloved pet(s).
