Big and little dogs love our fenced in back yard. In the winter we keep a trail shoveled for our guests, so even littles feel comfortable in winter running around. All of our guests have loved the freedom of being able to run without being on a leash and I feel more comfortable than at the dog park. We have 2 non fur-babies of our own. We have baby gates throughout the house to keep dogs separate from the babies unless we are right there to watch them. We love animals of all types and think helping people feel comfortable with knowing that their pets are in good hands while they are out of town fits our lifestyle. So dogs get a lot of time out of their kennels and freedom to play in the fenced in backyard. We do kennel when we have to leave the house to run errands, but are never gone for more than a few hours. We have some of the best furry clients. For boarding, we have a routine where we let them out first thing in the morning to relieve themselves while we prepare breakfast. Then they come in and breakfast is served. After breakfast, they can go back outside or stay inside with us (we follow the dogs lead on this throughout the day). During outside time, we play fetch, take pictures, do yard work, and give loves. In the evening we serve dinner, let out once more before kennels for bed. For drop in visits, we follow the directions left by the owner. If we have extra time after checklist has been completed, we spend time with all the pets and make sure the space is tidy (vacuum hairballs, sweep around bowl space, etc) before leaving.
