Sharon is a kind and compassionate person, and she absolutely loves animals. She cares for her pets as if they were her children. She is responsible and takes pride in her work. She works well with others, people and animals. I have left my fur baby in her care many times, and he is always well taken care of and perhaps a bit spoiled. She is definitely going to do wonderful at this job.

Sharon has watched and walked our dog before. She truly loves animals and takes them on walks regularly. She knows all the best dog parks and visits them frequently. She is patient, safe, reliable and responsible with her animals and those belonging to others. Highly recommend!

Sharon is an awesome dog sitter/walker. My two dogs adore her! She is responsible, reliable, professional and even helped me out when an unplanned situation came up, she spent 2 nights with my dogs. The dogs are so happy to see her shining enthusiasm when she enters the room. It's evident she loves animals and I highly recommend her!

Home Full Time - Dog Parks & Trails

Three things about me: I love animals, I grew up rehabilitating them and I am a retired emergency room nurse, so I know how hard it is to work long hours and leave your fur baby at home and then try to find someone who will take care of them when you can’t. You want someone that’s safe, reliable, normal, not crazy, knows what they’re doing, and let’s be real, reasonably ...

What Sharon would like to know about your dog

Here’s my phrase for this: Bring. It. On.

I will babysit any breed, size, gender, weight, or fixed-status. Same goes for cats (I LOVE CATS too!)

I would like to know the basics beforehand:

-Are they up to date on their shots?
-Who is their vet and emergency vet?
-What’s their regular routine like?
-What and how much and how often do you feed them?
-Are they an escape artist? (I’m looking at you, little sneaky huskies).
-Do they pull on the leash and/or use a harness?
-Are they allowed on furniture?
-Are they allowed on the bed?
-Do they have any triggers? (Men, women, children, police officers, postal workers, baskets, cats, cars, blankets, cyclist, you know the drill)
-What scares them?
-What calms them? (Is it Bob Ross? Because he is on Netflix now)
-What makes them happy?
-Do they have a bedtime routine?
-Do they have to “work” for their treats?
-What tricks do they know?
-What don’t they know?
-Do they have any little tics?
-Do they guard treats/toys?
-Do they get upset if a certain area(s) of their body is touched (like paws)?
-Do they have any allergies?
-Do they have any special needs?
-Do they have any medical needs?
-Do they have separation anxiety?
-Which side is their “better” side? Left or right or dead-on? (Because like I said, I’ll be taking lots of photos to send to you!)

And anything else you think I need to know.

I love taking dogs on walks in state and local parks. Trails are kinda my thing because I think dogs get all excited about the smells, sights and wildlife (did you know they have deer at Don White Memorial Park in Roswell? Because they do!) and I can pick a trail that’s perfect for each dog’s physical needs. And if you’re worried about ticks and mosquitoes, I have vet approved tick/mosquito spray: it’s awesome, all natural, and smells amazing. I don’t know why, but it just does (it’s called Vet’s Best Mosquito Repellent Spray. And yes, it’s on Amazon Prime.) Additionally, I find that trails don’t have cars and er, cars, so it makes it safer for everyone involved. However, I’m down for neighborhood walks too! Honestly, just whatever I can do to make you happy and your baby happy.

I will also take them to Newtown Dog Park a lot (it’s huge, is AstroTurf, has a little water park, small dog park, medium-large dog park, a “loner” dog park, I can throw balls for them in any of those parks, and the other dogs are well behaved.) However, side note; I bring my own water and my own bowl. No sharing, no thank you. I love other dogs, but I do not love other dog diseases. I will keep your baby protected, just like I do with my own. And speaking of protected, I also watch my dogs like-a-hawk at the dog park. I just put in my headphones (the international signal of “don’t talk to me”), and watch what my (and hopefully your) little ones are up to. Never have had a problem with this method and don’t plan on having one with your fur baby! I. Got. Their. Little. Cute. Back.

They pretty much will go everywhere with me that I can take them to (drive thru windows, drive up atms, Petco/Petsmart, treat testing at Hollywood Feed, etc).

I do try to plan things around the weather, so no one gets sick, but if it’s mild, gentle rain, and they have a little raincoat and you’re okay with it, then we’ll be outside 99% of the time. Same goes for heat: I have cooling gel bandannas, LOTS of water, and a nice water bowl. And for cold: A sweater, lots of water, a nice water bowl, and even more hugs than usual (how is that even possible?)!

And for that dreaded 1%...we’ll be going to Petco or Petsmart or anywhere else that will take dogs.

Oh, the horror...
