I grew up being around all sorts of animals, my passion is horses however any pet steals a place in my heart. I got my first dog when I turned 10, he was older but still stole my heart. He was going to be put down because of his age but he still had that spark in his eyes I knew he was going to be special. I named him chooca, he looked like chocolate. He came with many issues due to his years but I learned how to care for him, and helped the local vet to be able to afford his medicine and vet costs. My parents covered the rest. Letting Chooca go was an extremely hard choice to make. I soon found that I loved dogs too and got a puppy at 15, training a puppy proved to have its challenges but we learned along the way. I have taken care of older pets, and younger too. Learned a lot about dog behavior and how they communicate with us, and other dogs. I know the basics of body language and find that understanding in rehabbing, walking, training and socializing dogs from all walks of life to be very beneficial. I hope to meet your furry friends soon and get to know some new friends.
