I’m simply crazy about dogs! I’ve been a dog lover and owner all my life, and I don’t think my life would feel complete without having at least one to love. I’ve shown dogs in the confirmation ring, trained dogs for obedience showing, and I’ve had several therapy dogs who just naturally brought joy to anyone they greeted in a hospital room or nursing home. Just one loving little slurpy kiss would brighten anyone’s day! I live on 6 acres in Leesburg, and have 2 little guys of my own, a 6 lb Morkie named Baxter who’s a therapy dog, and a 9 lb Shichon named Gracie. Baxter may be small but he doesn’t have a timid bone in his body, and he’s never met a stranger. My neighbor’s two big border collies are a couple of his BFF’s! He’s very friendly and is all about love and devotion. My dogs are trained to not go beyond certain perimeters in my yard, but I always walk my doggie guests on a 50’ light line lead for exercise or potty breaks. The long light line gives them the feel of freedom to explore while still under my control. I’ve done basic obedience training and professional grooming for 30 years, so I’ve pretty much seen it all when it comes to dog behavior and interaction. I live a peaceful lifestyle and dogs pick up on that and typically relax and enjoy their visits while at “dog camp” (as some have called it😊). While your 4-legged family members visit here I’ll always keep you up to date with pics, texts, and/or videos each day. However, I typically send them to your personal cell phone, rather than through Rover, for your privacy.
