I have owned dogs, cats and birds all my life. I can't imagine life without pets. I have two Afghan hounds that I adopted five years ago when my first Afghan passed away. A breeder in California contacted me and asked if I would be interested in adopting them due to an illness of the current owner who could no longer care for them. From day one Temmy and Torch have been like my shadow. They sleep with me and follow me where ever I go. Temmy recently started having seizers and has to take medication three times a day so I set an alarm to remind myself or my husband if we are not home. I retired early from my job of 15 years so I could be with her in case she had more seizers.. I provided care for the elderly community as a Scheduling Supervisor. I know how stressful it is to leave your pets with someone else. It's very important that you adjust to their schedule and needs. I would care for your pets as if they were mine. I volunteered at Pets Inc. for three years.
