Pet care experience

My family and our fur babies love the company of other dogs. We cannot find anything else we would like to do than to share our time and attention with another furry friend. As an active duty military family moving a lot dog sitting has been very therapeutic for my kids. Any dogs that come here will get tons of love and attention! I have taken care of my own dogs and the dogs of others for the past 15 years. The pups will be spending time all over our home, so they must be potty trained. They can lay on the furniture or wherever they choose. They will get lots of outdoor activity time. If they want to play I will play with them, but I will not force them to play. We may play fetch, enjoy the sunshine, get wet in the sprinklers, go for walks, or just enjoy some treats outdoors. REQUIREMENTS FOR CARE: -Potty trained 100% (no exceptions) -Must be at least 1 year of age -Up to date on shots -Leash trained (if seeking walks) -Heart worm preventative -Flea/Tick preventative

Shantelle did a terrific job, and we hope to be able to use her again in the future. She kept us updated with pics, and was very quick to respond when we wanted to check in on Lionel. Our plans changed while we were gone, and we had to adjust the time we needed to pick him up - Shantelle was able to accommodate us with the time change - something we were extremely appreciative of. Lionel had plenty of playtime with Stella, and it was obvious he was taken care of throughout his stay.

Thanks for taking such good care of my two little furball's. They seem to really enjoy their visit.

Shantelle has done great with our new puppy Snickers. I have used her services for drop in "potty breaks" for our 8 week old puppy for 2 weeks now. I will be continuing to utilize Shantelle in the future.

Shantelle and her family took good care of Molly while we were out of town for the weekend. The environment is great for dogs, and she seemed to make herself well enough at home pretty quick. I could tell going in that Shantelle is somewhat selective in the client's she takes on, and while I didn't meet all of her initial criteria she still (albeit reluctantly) agreed to watch Molly on a little less than a week's notice. The only real complaint I have is that the pick up schedule was pretty rigid. And I was charged an additional hourly rate once I passed a certain cutoff. This is inconsistent with my experience using other sitters on this site, and while it wasn't wildly unreasonable it did catch me a bit off guard. That said, I would still recommend Shantelle to anyone who wants to be sure their dog is in a good environment and receiving a high level of care and attention. At the end of the day, that's the most important thing!
