There has never been a day that I have not had a dog in my life... they're a must in my family. I have experience handling various types of dogs, from my own furry family members as well as working at a dog daycare/boarding facility. I am passionate about learning how to best care for dogs, and giving them what they need. Dogs are like people... no two are the same! I have a very flexible schedule, especially during the summer. I would love to set up a meet and greet so that you can get to know me better, and tell me about your needs and how to best care for your dog. Shannon is and always has been great with dogs, I can't think of anyone i would rather leave my own dog with. Her attention to detail and compassion lend very well to the needs of a dog sitter. Having known her and the dogs in her family, I can say without a doubt, any dog that has the fortune to spend time with her will not soon forget her.
Shannon is so great with our mini Aussie, Avery. From the moment I met her I could tell she loves dogs. She used to work at a pet shelter and has a dog of her own and grew up around dogs when she was younger. She is the best dog walker I've ever hired and is extremely trustworthy and such a kind, sweet girl. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants their dog to to be a happy pup! We live right by Liberty Park and she'll take him around the park loop and when he gets home, he's happy and a little tired. Shannon is amazing!
