Sean has earned a certificate as an Approved Veterinary Assistant (AVA) from Front Range Community College, a certificate in Human-Animal Interactions from the University of Denver, a certificate in Cat & Dog First Aid from Red Cross and is a Fear Free Certified Professional. He is constantly taking continued education courses to expand his knowledge on animals. Sean and Shannon have both volunteered at animal shelters for over 3 years, specializing in foster home visits. One of our senior cats is diabetic so we are both used to giving injections/specialized care. You will typically be messaging with Sean, who is a full-time pet care professional while also taking classes to obtain his veterinary technician certification. Shannon works from home with a flexible schedule and open weekends. She is a VP at a tech PR agency and fills free time with pet sitting. For Sean, it’s 24/7! We have 2 vehicles so we are able to get to many neighborhoods very easily. Our two cats are treated like queens in our home. We have a cat tower, scratch pads galore and a fancy digital liter box—only the best for Blue and Pancake!

We take a lot of pride in our housesitting and go above and beyond. Sean will not only spend the night but the majority of our day is spent there, except when we pop out for other walks and drop-ins. We were both raised right and know how to act in someone else’s home. We promise to respect your pets, your home and your wishes! We will do our best to accommodate your needs, whether it be watering plants, taking out trash or shoveling snow!

Let me know what kind of exercise your dog prefers and any nuances we should be aware of. We want your dog to feel right at home, even when you are away. Routine is important so we attempt to disrupt it as little as possible.
A typical day
Getting outside daily for a few good, long walks is one of our favorite activities and we are excited for your dog to join us in the fun! It’s always a bonus when there is a trail or park nearby. There is something to be said about a nice, lengthy petting session, too.

We can’t imagine going a single day without spending time with an animal. Because Sean is a full time pet caregiver, he is often available on short notice.
