Pet care experience
My husband and I have 20 years of experience caring for a variety of pets, but love dogs best. We routinely take our dogs through simple commands and are happy to include your pooches and provide love, socialization, and pre-approved treats, of course. Our household has 2 dogs, 2 cats, and several rabbits. Our home is almost 2000 sq ft full of toys to share. We work nights, so we have flexible hours for walking and drop-ins. Our dogs are friendly, fixed, large breed adults. Harley is 9 year old female dane mix who loves going to the dog park, hiking, walking, and loves having new friends to play with. Bradley is a senior citizen basset hound/german shepherd mix who likes short walks and napping.

From the first time I met Shannon I could tell she was a loving dog mommy. Every time she has watched my dogs she treats them like they are her own babies. I'm very protective, and receiving text and picture updates helped ease my mind. She is responsible, reliable, and trustworthy and I would highly recommend her.
Shannon has a lovely home with lots of space for animals to play. Her dogs, Harley and Bradley, are well cared for and are very happy pets. Her back yard is large and welcoming to animals and people, and Shannon takes very good care of all of her animals. I would not hesitate to have Shannon look after my pets, and have seen the great job that she does in taking care of the pets of others.

If a dog is staying at my house, I need to know if your dog is a fence jumper or a chewer and if they get along with other pets. I also like to know what their usual routine is: what time do they eat, play outside, go on walks, and sleep? What makes them nervous and helps them to feel safe. I prefer larger breeds at my house, just because some smaller dogs are intimidated by my larger dogs. My pets get along with most animals.
A typical day
We enjoy taking our dogs to Sandy River Delta Park and it is a five minute ride from our house. We live in a quiet neighborhood, so we often take our dogs walking around our neighborhood. We play hide and seek, fetch, and take our dogs through basic commands: sit, down, stay, and come. We have a fenced yard, and a mostly enclosed porch so most dogs can go outside and play in the yard on their own if they enjoy laying in the sun or need to prowl more often.
