Hi, I'm Shannon and I've been in Louisville nearly 10 years and pet sitting for 8. I grew up on a farm in South Carolina and have been around all sorts of animals my entire life. I love dogs especially, but I also have plenty of experience with cats and rats as well! I truly enjoy petsitting because it allows for me to have the chance to be around animals (which I love) while also getting me out of the house and keeping me (and your fur baby!) active.

Shannon took great care of Beau and Elsa. She was very patient with Beau who had some initial anxiety and worked hard to gain his trust. They were best buds by the time she left. I find that not changing your pet’s routine helps them to feel comfortable and remain calm while you are away. I am willing and able to give any medication your pet may need as well as meet special needs your pet may have!

A typical day
I’m a typical day, I love being outdoors with your pets if it is an activity they enjoy. Sometimes, it may be as simple as running around together, but if your pet is more of an explorer, I also do enjoy trails in places such as Jefferson Memorial and would be happy to take your pet with me with permitting weather.

Availability
I do work full time, but the care of your pets will always come first. While I may be working, I can promise pets will be properly cared for before I leave and will receive everything needed the moment I am back. My work schedule never exceeds more than 8 1/2 hours a day, and if given 2-3 weeks notice, I am able to stay with your pets around the clock if needed!
