Experienced Veterinary Employee

Pet care experience

I have worked with animals for over 8 years. I have been employed at two different boarding facilities and doggy daycares and am currently employed at a local Animal Emergency Hospital. I utilize all of my knowledge to assist people in caring for their pets when they are not home. I will take the time to ensure they are comfortable (baby talk works with most pets!) and help them feel as loved as I would want my three personal dogs to feel. Any pet is fine by me! I love them all! I am looking to use this service mainly for in your home dog walking, feeding, cat care, etc. Given my wealth of knowledge, their medical state is always in my best interest. I know major symptoms to look out for that would be concerning for certain illnesses.

Shannon is a hard working dependable person who takes an animals health, safety and well being very serious.. She worked up close and personal with various breeds of dogs in a doggie daycare setting for 4 years and has gathered much knowledge of cat/dog wellness from working in an animal hospital for 3 years and an animal emergency center. She has insight into animal behaviors and illness that may go undetected by an untrained eye. She has rescued numerous cats and dogs over the past few years placing them in loving forever homes. Animals are her passion. As her mother and also a fellow animal advocate, working in the veterinary field for 23 years myself, I wouldn't trust my pets with anyone else and I would recommend her to any of my clients.

Shannon is not just an animal lover, but a wonderful person. She's got a huge heart, especially when it comes to animals. Her experience includes working with animals in the veterinary field, as well as in a daycare/boarding facility. She's caring, compassionate and always goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort and happiness of all fur babies (and the people that come with them:). She's a great girl and a wonderful dog caregiver!!

Shannon and I have been co-workers for three years. We both work at an animal hospital, and I can attest to her love and dedication to every animal she comes in contact with. She has a passion for animals like no one I have ever met before. She makes sure she gets to know everything about them and treats each one like her own. I would highly recommend Shannon if you want a person who is going to love your pet like their own and who is dedicated to their work!

Shannon has watched my 3 large and small breed dogs for me several times during days when my work does not permit me to come home and let them out. My German Shephard is very fearful of strangers but he took to her immediately and she handled him very well. She is always reliable and professional and I trust that my pets are safe in her care.
