Shannon was great with our dog, Oscar. He was in great spirits when we returned from our four night trip. Her communication with us was excellent throughout our trip. It was so nice to return to our home exactly how we left it with our happy dog waiting for us. We will definitely have Shannon house/pet sit for us on future vacations.

We were lucky enought to find Shannon just a few weeks before our trip. I had been nervous for months about leaving our senior dog, Chloe, (who has separation anxiety), but Shannon became her new best friend (which is surprising because it takes our dog a long time to warm up to people- but she warmed up to Shannon immediately). Shannon communicated with us and gave us updates- and cared for Chloe like she was her own when Chloe was feeling sick. We came home and everything was just as we left it- I wouldn't have even known anyone had been here! Our Chloe was clearly well cared for and as happy as could be. Had I known about Shannon, I would not have had to worry for so long about leaving Chloe! I will rebook her again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend you book her before someone else does. :)

I would love to schedule a meet & greet prior to caring for your pet if it’s for a house sitting request. This quick meeting can help your dog trust me, and allow me to be acquainted with daily routines or needs including: - Reward systems - Feeding times - Medications - Favorite toys - Overall demeanor And other house care duties including trash, mail, plants, cleaning, etc.
A typical day
I love to go on walks in neighborhoods and local parks. If there is a dog park nearby and your pup is properly trained, I would love to bring them there, too (with COVID-19 protocols)! I always stay away from main roads for safety, and will conduct thorough tick checks if playing in areas with long grass. I also enjoy a good game of tug-o'-war and catch! If your dog is a little older or not as active, I’m also happy to provide plenty of pets, eat scratches and cuddles!
