Pet care experience
I have been walking and caring for dogs for over 18 years. I have had many clients from the beginning of when they first brought their new pet home. Then helped train their puppy into healthy happy obedient adult dog. My clients are usually referred by existing clients, I have never had a unhappy pet or owner. I know dog CPR, I can administer vaccinations, and give medications and trim nails. I'm very flexible and willing to go above and beyond your needs. Your dog will love me. I offer other services; baths, drop off pick up to vet, grocery shopping, house cleaning, gardening, dry cleaning drop off/pick up. Anything to make your life easier. Shannon was a no show. Which was a problem trying to scramble our plans last minute. I thought it was unprofessional to not call us.. and let us know.. or if she had a medical emergency.. afterwards didn't contact us as to what happened. This has a least taught me to always have a plan B.
In a word: PHENOMENAL!!! We're always concerned about leaving a feisty German Shepard with someone too inexperienced. Shannon has the maturity to use great common sense in handling a big dog. She also shares our incredible love of animals and this breed in particular. We will always check with her for availability before we schedule travel. She kept in daily touch with us and sent photos regularly. She also tended to Tequila's medical needs and got her plenty of exercise. The house looked great and clean upon our return, with Tequila's bedding laundered. What else could you ask for???
I contacted Shannon because she has years of experience with dogs and house sitting. Within less than a minute, she sent a speedy reply. She was very communicative and understanding of what my anxious dog needed. My dog loved spending time with Shannon! They went on walks to the beach and played together! I'd use Shannon again!
Shannon was great! Not only did she get to our place at 4 AM(!), she took our dog out for all sorts of adventures and walks and left our home spotless. She's really great and we'd definitely use her again.

I ask the typical questions; when they eat, activity level, vets info and does your pet have all his/her vaccinations, are they on medication, do they like other pets, how do the react to children, do they like car rides, are they potty trained, are they allergic to any foods.
A typical day
Depending on age and ability my activities vary. For really active dogs and puppies I enjoy running/jogging, I love the beach so that's always a great spot. Hikes in the back bay they seem to love, I always bring water with me and treats to reward good behavior.
