Pet care experience
I've been taking care of all kinds of animals since I was very young. Currently, I'm the pet parent of 2 huskies (both 8yrs) and 5 cats (between the ages of 2 and 10.) If you know huskies then you know what I mean when I say I fully understand how to navigate animals with strong opinions. I've worked diligently and successfully in the name of safety to train them into well-behaved animals, at the same time they've trained and reinforced the patience and empathy already in me. You can trust that your pet will be safe with me and have fun.

Because I have huskies I'm used to dogs that require a fair amount of attention. Lots of fetch and training sessions to get the mind working. Also because of them I have a policy that outside time is always monitored, for safety, and I've sort of developed bat ears when it comes to the odd rustling one room over.
Information Shannon M. would like to know about your pet
I always want to know if there are any allergies. I like to have fun treats like freeze-dried chicken, but if they're allergic that will not be fun for them. I'd also like to know if your pet has any specific fears or anxieties. Nothing is going to seem silly to me. My dog Kira is afraid of drainage grates and Meisha doesn't like bridges. Does your dog dislike men? Knowing those things help us navigate walks and have the best time possible.
A typical day
I love to take walks in local parks. My favorite during the winter are the back trails at Munson Park in Monroe. The trails are long enough to really engage your dog, and they're not so heavily used by other folks, which is often less stress. I am an easy going person and we'll shape our time around what your pet most needs.

Availability
I'm currently working full-time during the week, however I work from home Monday and Friday and I have availability for drop-ins Monday and Friday. I am available all day during the weekend.
