Pet care experience
I can't pass a dog on the street with out asking if I can pet it first! I grew up with many dogs and have been the owner and friend to a few in my adult life. I think the relationship between dogs and humans is very special. In the cold winter months, I need a reason to get outside! Walking your dog is the best reason I can think of to go outside in Maryland winter. Currently I don't have a dog and am missing having a furry friend around. I love playing fetch and running around with them. I'm very good at following specific instructions for feeding and medication if that's something your dog requires. I'm very loving and will treat your dog like my own :)

Shannon was wonderful. She responded quickly to my messages and set up a meet-and-greet prior to Max's stay. She provided daily updates which made leaving Max less stressful! I would highly recommend Shannon.
I was pretty worried about leaving my pup with anyone, but Shannon made the whole process simply amazing! We made sure to meet up prior to my trip and my dog really liked her. During my trip, Shannon sent me updates with adorable pictures of Chihiro enjoying herself AND put up with me being a crazy dog-mom (there was a very long Google Docs page involved...). When I got home, I was pretty convinced that my dog had more fun than I had! It's such a relief to know there's someone I can trust with her. I highly recommend Shannon as a petsitter and definitely hope she can watch Chihiro in the future! (I'm only sorry it took me so long to realize I hadn't written a review!)
Shannon was great. We would definitely have her watch our dogs again.

I have no breed preferences. I love all breeds equally. However, I need to know if they are aggressive in any way. Are they dog friendly or should I keep them away from other dogs? Are they territorial about food or toys? Neither of these things makes me not want to take care of your fur baby....i just need to know.
A typical day
I love hiking and being outside so we will go to the park and for regular walks around the neighborhood.
