Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Shannon and I love dogs and cats of all sizes! I have spent the past 8 years caring for pets and walking dogs up to 100 pounds - I recently cared for my 50th dog in Richmond through Rover! I’ve never met an animal I didn’t like, and I’m committed to providing the best care and love to your animals when you need someone. I have experience administering cat and dog medicines. Over the past few years I’ve also fostered 20 kittens! I’m a medical student at VCU, and I’m trying to earn money to help with tuition. I’m a quick responder and would love to answer any questions you have, and I’ll be sure to check in as often as you want to assure that your pets doing great and getting lots of love! I’m my client’s home, I will be sure to provide pets with lots of play time, outside time, and walks. I have experience with dogs with a variety of quirk, triggers, and some aggressive tendencies. I live in an apartment with no other pets, so your pet will have free roam and get lots of love and attention.

Shannon is amazing with Eeyore! He’s 189 pounds and can be a little much for some people just with his size and his drooling, but Shannon does so great and loves him. We will keep booking with her! I love her updates and I trust Eeyore is in the best care.

I love long walks and exploring parks around Richmond with my pups - Jefferson park is a favorite. A change of scenery often seems so enriching for dogs, and I love to provide that during my sitting.

Availability
I’m currently in my 4th year of med school where I’m in the hospital part time or full time depending on the week. I am generally available evenings and weekends, and I tend to hang around to house and study on weekends (and so I get to hang out with my Rover boarders!)
