Pet care experience
As a kid I was always drawn to dogs, cats and animals of all kinds. I appreciate and love their spirit and enjoy, immensely, the time that I spend with them. I currently also work as a dog walker and have several references for pet sitting and or boarding. Things change. With no explanation we picked up our dogs at a different location than where we were lead to believe they were staying. One of our dogs seemed rather traumatized by the experience. She also had a substantial face wound from "rough play". We've never had this happen at a sitters. Our pup was clearly traumatized not wanting to get in the car for weeks after we picked her up. This is not a good fit for us moving forward.
Our 4 year old boxer and 8 month old Boston Terrier stayed with Shannon for 2 weeks over the holidays. I met with several potential boarders and it was very clear from the get go that our pups felt very comfortable in Shannon's home. (They played with each other the whole time we did our meet and greet.) They also came back happy and healthy (we've had prior experience with a dog sitter where this was not the case), which of course made us happy. We highly recommend Shannon for boarding.
Shannon did great! We were on vacation for two weeks, and she moved into our house and looked after our three dogs - two labs and one Boston Terrier - and a hamster! She sent us lots of pictures and kept us updated. Will definitely invite her again to take care of our animals!
Shandon was very welcoming of our little guy. Meet and greet was done prior to the stay to ensure we were comfortable with her and that Corky would get along with her. Kept us up to date with pictures sent nearly everyday. Treated him like her own dog. Very knowledgeable and patient with our alpha dog who can be a little bit of a trouble maker.

Does your dog need medication and or any special requirements so I can make sure they are comfortable and happy?
A typical day
I am very responsible but at the same time like to have a good time with your pet. Playing, going on short or long walks with your dog, depending on what they need. I want your pet to be comfortable and happy and believe, with my experience of owing dogs and cats and being a professional dog walker, that I would be a perfect match for pet and household. I will treat your dog like he/she is my own. Meaning, I will take care of your dog with special care and attention. I am fun loving, have lots of energy and am a very aware and detailed person and in tune with a dogs energy. I am active so if your dog needs a long walk/hike that is not a problem at all. Any additional needs for your dog I will accommodate.
