Pet care experience
I’ve been around cats and dogs my whole life! I love all animals. I started ‘officially’ pet sitting (for animals other than my own) when I was 17. I’ve also been a foster for cats for the Brandywine SPCA. My promise to you is that I will care for your fur baby as if it was my very own!

Shannon popped in twice while we were out of town for the day and took good care of Luna! She was prompt and gave us a thorough update.

Shannon has come a few times to get to know our dog and has been very receptive to my instructions and suggestions. Feeling confident to have her stop by again soon!
Shannon did a great job checking in on my 2 (antisocial) cats while we were away! She got my cats to play and socialize, added good detail to the check ins, and kept the litter boxes nice and clean!!

For overnight/home stays, I aim for an Initial meet & greet, so I’m not a stranger to you or your fur baby. This is also a great way for you to show me your pets typical routine, where everything I would need is located and a chance for me to see where your home is to avoid confusion when the care is actually required! For day visits, I prefer to still aim to do a meet & greet however, day visits can tend to be more last minute, so sometimes it doesn’t work out that way. In either case, my goal is to keep your pet as close to their normal routine as possible and keep them happy and safe until you can return home to them!

Please let me know if there is any special circumstances or behaviors of your pet such as how they are with other animals, any fears or anxiety’s, etc. I would also love to know what they love/enjoy the most (certain toys, games, snacks, scratch spots, etc)!
A typical day
I love to make animals happy, so depending on what they enjoy the most would depend on how we spend the day! I always like to know and stick to they’re typical routine until we both become more familiar with each other.

I’m currently working part-time so my schedule is fairly flexible (I can make some adjustments as needed if given enough notice). I would typically be at work from ~8am-1pm during the week!
