Pet care experience
I've been around Dogs and Cats since I was a little girl. My first job included walking my neighbors dogs in the summers. I have been responsible to take care of families and friends pets while on vacations, fed and walked their pets while absent during the work week, and have plenty of experience house sitting with pets throughout the years. I currently am a Full Time Grad Student M-Th, but I have plenty of time Friday-Sunday to care for, walk, and watch your pets overnight if needed! I can work with you to be flexible if specific times are needed as long as I can work it around my class schedule. I understand that very pet has their own personality and are comfortable in their own settings and I am prepared to adapt to your babies energetic, spunky, shy, cuddly, or noisy self as they are, and will strive to give them the best care possible

Shannon was amazing! She came over for 2 meet and greets prior to us leaving. First one was for the chance for all of us to meet and see how her and Zoey got along. The second was to go over the care instructions for Zoey. Shannon kept us up to date while we were gone with plenty of check in texts and pictures. It was the right amount to reassure us things were fine at home while not taking away from our trip away. We are so thankful Shannon stayed in our home, allowing Zoey (who is a senior dog) to remain comfortable in her own home. Shannon was able to properly provide Zoey with her oral medication needs. When we got home we could tell Zoey already missed her!! Thank you Shannon for loving on our sweet girl while we were gone.
Shannon was amazing. She was extremely flexible with moving times around to begin watching our puppy abby. Abby absolutely loved being with her, and we loved all of the pictures and piece of mind knowing she was being loved and cared for. I would recommend Shannon to anyone!
Shannon was AWESOME! She did not hesitate to keep me up to speed and informed in my “sometimes finicky “ little one didn’t eat or something was wrong. Lapsi enjoyed her time with Shannon from the pictures she(Shannon, not Lapsi…lol) sent to me. I DEFINITELY recommend Shannon to anyone needing a sitter, and will not hesitate to use her again!!
Shannon is the best sitter we have found in a long time. We dropped Willie off for a half day visit prior to our trip, just to help everyone get acquainted and it was clear from the beginning that she was amazing! Her communication is super fast, she sends updates often, and if she ever has any doubt on anything she isn’t afraid to ask a question. After the half day, Willie came home with ease and it was super clear he had a great time. When we dropped him off for his actual stay, he immediately got excited and was ready to play with Shannon instead of anxiety and nerves because we were leaving him. Shannon was amazing! Highly recommend and we will definitely be using again in the future if possible.

I live in an apartment complex with a very large park next door where we could play, walk, and run while I care for your animals. I could easily crate your dogs if needed be and your pup would never be without attention between myself and my roommates!

I live right next to a huge park in Fort Wayne and would love to explore the area or just around the block with your pets. Playing fetch is one of my favorite things to do, or wrestling matches, where I will give your pup a good fight.

Availability
I am currently a full time graduate student, but I have plenty of time on the weekends if you have to leave town, some days of the week I have breaks between classes where I'd have time to drop in or walk your dogs! My schedule looks limited, but there are large pockets of availability between classes during the week. I am more than willing to have an open conversation about availability if you are looking for a reliable source of care for your animals.
