Hi, I'm Shannon! I've had dogs in my family for the past 10 years but I've been dog sitting for neighbors even before that. I also volunteer at an animal sanctuary where I walk and care for all ages and breeds. I love being active with dogs (hikes, beach, you name it) but I also appreciate calm dogs who just need some attention and a good cuddle :) Oh, and I love cats too! I am available at all times of the day to come by to feed, walk, or socialize with your dog. I will follow directions for whatever style of walking you prefer. I'm also happy to work on tricks and reinforce positive behavior. I've cared for lots of dogs before that have special needs, special diets, and medications so none of those things are an issue for me at all! I am not here for the money, I truly love meeting new dogs and getting to spend time with them!

Shannon was AMAZING! Her house sitting and dog sitting skills are beyond compare! Shannon responded immediately to my request and then scheduled to come by to meet the dogs and get instructions. Taz, Tiwi, and Odie responded positively to Shannon right from the start. Shannon stayed at my home during record rainfall/flooding in so Cal, which is challenging with pets. She handled everything so well. She provided a sufficient number of updates, which was appreciated and reassuring. When I returned home, my pups and cat (named 805) were happy and well-cared for and my house was in perfect condition. I highly recommend Shannon to anyone who wants a loving, responsible, and experienced pet sitter/house sitter!
Shannon is a great dog sitter! She has taken care of our dogs several times at our home and she's always done an excellent job! Our dogs are happy and excited to see her, and I don't think they even miss us when we're gone. She has done both drop in visits and overnight stays, and she's kept us posted with photo updates and texts. We have a great dane mix and a toy poodle, and she''s equally good with both dogs. I highly recommend Shannon, she's definitely an animal lover!
Shannon was a great dog watcher for my black lab Wrangler last summer while I was on vacation. She not only dog-sat, but also house-sat for me for about two weeks and did a great job!
