I have been around dogs and cats my whole life. I am more of a cat person but love having dogs visit us. I have a cat who is best friends with a husky. He likes it when dog friends visit so he can play with them. We live within walking distance of a park and enjoy taking our dog friends and the cat for walks there. We don't mind having the pups in our bed if they need extra attention at night. We are active dorks who enjoy being outside with the animals and snuggling for downtime. Our family will go out of our way to make sure the pups feel loved and try to keep them from missing their people as much as they would if they were being boarded at a vets.
