Pet care experience
I have always loved animals, with a special place in my heart for dogs and cats. I have one personal dog that I adopted and two others that belong to my family that live in the house. I’ve been involved with all of their training from puppyhood on but most closely involved with my dog Smokey who trains at our local dog club. I am also very experienced with cats, I’ve owned my own cat, a feisty tuxedo, and help care for two others that live in my family’s home. Having cared for pets in all life stages I’m experienced with administering pills, preparing special diet meals, bathing and grooming, following special training rituals and of course walking! I truly understand the benefits that a daily walk can have on a dogs behavior and happiness. I’m comfortable walking multiple dogs at once but will always walk your dog according to what you the owner knows is best for your pup.

Shannon is wonderful and patient with our new baby as she learns and grows.
I have known Shannon since she was a child, as I used to pet sit for her family when I lived closer. I have watched Shannon grow into an extremely mature, level-headed young woman who is responsible and has a deep passion for animals. I am still in contact with the family, and Shannon currently cares for some of my family member's pets. I would not hesitate to hire her to watch after my own three dogs (Anatolian Shepherd, American Bulldog, and Staffordshire) and three cats. I trust her completely with my beloved pets, as well as with my home.
Shannon is the best! She’s been caring for our dogs for many years. Our pups are always perfectly cared for under Shannon’s watchful eyes. She walks them, feeds them, and makes them feel safe and loved. She’ll even surprise us with photos when we are missing our fur babies!! You will not be disappointed if you chose Shannon for your petcare needs.
Shannon is as good as it comes with all animals. She has three dogs and two cats at home in which she takes great care for. Shannon is responsible and respectful in every way and no matter what always gets a job done. She is the most loving animal owner I know by far.

I accept all breeds and mixes! I’ve walked dogs from 15 to 103 pounds and am generally comfortable with all sizes. If you require special equipment to walk your dog such as specific harnesses back packs or head collars I am willing to accommodate any of your needs!
A typical day
I’m open to walking wherever you would prefer I walk your dog. If up to me I am open to walking dogs in your neighborhood or to take them to walk somewhere else, I really enjoy the walking path in Walsingham Park as well as using the pinellas country trail. Of course the location and length of each walk will be different for each dog and what you prefer.

Currently I am taking online classes and attend dog training two time a week. My availability is very open and flexible, I’m open to both one time walks and repeat bookings.
