I have grown-up with all types of dogs. I currently have a 3 year old Great Dane names Layla and a hound mix puppy named Holly. I was an elementary teacher for six years, but I currently stay at home with my 8 year old son and my 5 1/2 year old son. I am usually pretty flexible with my time. Your dogs will be in good hands with me. I will make sure they are comfortable, having fun, and feel safe. I want to make sure every dog feels loved and remembered. I would feel honored to have the opportunity to love on your furry family member. Your worries will be put to ease with my care of your pets. I am knowledgeable of many breeds, and feel confident in my ability to provide your dog with the best care and attention. I have lived with dogs my entire life. I have experience with many different breeds (and genders). I have two dogs as part of my family currently. Why I love dog sitting I am pretty sure I have loved dogs since birth. My family had a dog when I was born (my parents had to give her away when I was really little). When I was in first grade we rescued a puppy. Her name was Cali and she was my best friend growing up. She lived all the way until my Junior year of college! I used to pet sit in high school, and I also did a little pet sitting in college as well. After my freshmen year of college, I moved in with family that lived in the same city as my school. They had a Briard (a french sheepdog) named B.B. (which stood for Belly Button- their two year old daughter got to name him). He immediately became "my dog." I LOVED having him around. A few years later I got engaged and married. Shortly after getting married, my husband and I knew we needed to get a dog. That is when we rescued our first dog Joey. Two years later, we adopted our second dog Bella. I absolutely love dogs of all sizes. I will always have dogs in my life. (In fact my husband's dream is to own a vineyard and have Great Danes roam the vineyard.... Maybe one day!) My experience administering medication Yes. Through the years, my own dogs have required medication. I feel comfortable giving the dogs whatever they might need.
