Pet care experience
I have experience training my own amazing dog and caring for family members' dogs. As a teenager, I raised puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind. My dog is extremely well trained, obedient, and loves other dogs. I love dogs and am very loving with them while firm in my expectations. I do not give people food to dogs and I don't yell at them. I treat them with respect and kindness. I can groom your dog, do basic training if requested, and I walk very often with my own dog. During the summer I am available nearly all day every day and I'm a great candidate for house-sitting or dog-sitting for summer vacations. I have a dog park close to my house and am very active myself with a dog that needs a lot of exercise.

Shannon was great with Murphy during his 4 night stay. She took him on walks, to dog parks and to swim in a pond. He came home very exhausted and happy. It was obvious Shannon spent a lot of time with Murphy during his stay. We got a lot of great pics and updates. We would recommend Shannon to anyone looking for a dog sitter and would use her again if she is available.
Shannon was great! She took Skye on short notice which was greatly appreciated.
Shannon is great with dogs. I trust her with my dogs. She is very active - she walks and runs with our dogs every day when she watches them. I highly recommend her.
You could not find a more responsible, compassionate person to care for your pet. Shannon has a dog that is extremely well trained and healthy and happy. I have observed her around many other dogs as well as my own and she is always loving and caring with them. I highly recommend Shannon. There would be no hesitation for me to leave my own precious dog with her.

I run every morning with my dog and can easily take other dogs with me as my dog is obedient off-leash. I go to dog parks, hardware stores, pet stores, hikes with my sisters, and do yard work. I am often outside with my dog in some way.
