Pet care experience
Recently relocated to Fairbanks with my spouse. I work from home and am hoping to make some extra money dog walking and house sitting. I'm a 30 yo, chihuahua mom originally from Phoenix. For pet daycare, my dog is easy going and gets along well with other dogs. We live on about 2 acres, un-fenced and dogs are always supervised while outside. If needed, I'm more than happy to put them on a leash for their outside time. For dog walks and drop-ins, you can count on me to be on time and take great care of your fur baby!

Shannon was Fantastic from our first meeting. She had our little one for 12 days. We found her to be patient, kind and very understanding with his separation anxiety that he suffers from. After he calmed down he was his old little self while she played with him and kept us up to date with how he was. We will definitely use her again.
Shannon was great with our dog! Luna loved her and her roommate both. She sent me pictures and let me know how Luna was doing during the stay, which I really appreciated. It make me feel safe and comfortable knowing Luna was in good hands. She is definitely our new dog sitter!! ?

If watching your pets at my house, I am usually never gone more than 2-3 hours at a time. While away, dogs will be crated (if crate trained) or confined to a bathroom or bedroom with a doggie gate so they can still see out. Water is always available and when home, I usually do potty breaks every 1-2 hours.

I need to know the general temperament of the dog. How are they with strangers and toward other animals. Do they have any allergies? Are they leash trained? Will they run or bolt if given a chance? How is their recall?
A typical day
I love going on walks with the dogs I sit! I'm constantly trying to get in 10,000 steps a day and dog walking is my favorite way to reach this goal.

I work entirely from home on my own schedule. This means I am available and flexible with my time. I live on the border of Fairbanks and North Pole, but am willing to drive to Fairbanks proper and North Pole to take care of pets!
