I've always had a dog (and multiple cats) as part of the household, I currently just have one senior female pug. My pug, Bella, is very calm and not bothered by most types of animals. For small caged animals; I have three mice, two rats, and hermit crabs (they stay in a room upstairs). I worked at PetSmart as a Pet Care Specialist for three years before moving, I learned a lot about the proper care of many different types of animals while there. I am currently home full time. I am enrolled in an online university so I can still be home even when working. I live with two other animal lovers, Tylor who works at the KidsPeace HQ and Emily who is a full time Nanny, for these jobs they both have gotten background checks and clearances. I have a 3 acre back yard with a stream in the back which will make walks at home safe but still exciting. I lived on a family farm for many years so I also have experience with farm animals such as goats, chickens, ducks, and cows. Special Skills: experience administrating oral medicines (pills and oral syringe), experience with a cat who had severe anxiety, experience with a dog who had poultry and beef allergies, I learned pet CPR while in a first aid/CPR class, and I have diverse animal care experiences (not only cats and dogs but also fish, amphibians, reptiles, small mammals, birds, and exotic pets). I have been present while my dog has given birth, my cats given birth in multiple occasions and my mouse given birth so I have experience with newborn animals as well.
