I've had dogs all my life and currently have a 3 year old beagle who spends his days with me (previously we had our very much loved 16+ year old beagle). Because of this, I do require a meet and greet before confirming any boarding or doggy day care as I need to make sure the dogs get along. Walks or drop ins don't need a meet up with my dog, but it's always nice to meet up with me just so I can makes sure I can meet your needs. Senior dogs are always welcome very much in this house. I'm skilled at pilling dogs who may need medications whether it be the old-fashioned way or bribery with treats. I have lots of toys and plenty of room for dog snuggles on the couch if they are feeling the need for some extra love while their people are away. I don't do formal grooming but if a dog needs a daily brush or a wash off from getting in the mud I have no problems with those simple task. Whether the doggies want to go for walks through the neighborhood or just run in the backyard, it's all good with me. Right now we are doing mostly weekends for boarding/day care since I am back to working out of the house. Walks and drop-ins I can do during the week as long as we can work around my day job. If a good dog relationship develops, we can certainly branch out to longer boarding with repeat clients. We have a small fenced in back yard that has a solid 6' wood fence that we use for short outside times and quick bathroom breaks. Dogs can hang out with us as they are comfortable as we offer many dog beds, the furniture, and even a dog-bench in the bay window so they can watch the bunnies and squirrels.
