We were coming in town for an event and needed someone to watch our spoiled intact male dog. As first time users of Rover, we had questions about the system, process, and really wanted to get in touch with the sitter before dropping out dog off. We found Shannon, sent her a request to chat, and got in touch with her almost instantly! Shannon answered all of my questions on how everything works and her experience in dog sitting. She didn't make me fee like I was leaving my dog with a stranger. She was welcoming and responsive. Throughout my dog's stay, she gave me updates 3 - 4 times a day. When I messaged her, she would respond within 15 minutes. We were late in dropping our dog off and early when picking him up. She was flexible and accommodated our change in plan. Our dog didn't want to leave when we went to pick him up. That is a testimony to how much my dog loved staying with her! We are extremely happy we found Shannon and will definitely book her the next time we are in town.
Shannon stayed in touch everyday! I was so happy her and Gigi hit it off. Shannon is very upbeat and an asset to Rover. Thanks again Shannon!! I will definitely use Shannon if and when we go away again.
It is not often you meet a true animal lover like Shannon. Not only does she love dogs, she’s professional and punctual. I felt so comfortable leaving my golden retriever Louis and chocolate lab Jackson in her care while my husband and I enjoyed the holiday weekend. She was above and beyond with the amount of walks and playtime the boys received. Several of my neighbors already booked her.
Shannon did another great job house sitting our two dogs. She is very attentive and patient especially considering our one dog is extremely high maintenance and requires a lot of extra care and attention. We will definitely use Shannon again in the future and highly recommend to anyone looking for a very reliable, honest, caring dog sitter.

A typical day
This of course depends on your pets specific needs. Each service is tailored specifically to your pet. Typically, I love walking dogs to the local coffee shop for treats and pets. From there I may walk to the beach or the park for some exercise to burn off some energy. I love playing fetch, tug of war or with whatever toy your pet favors. After a log walk I love to cuddle on the couch with with the dog when it’s time to wind down.
