Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals! I’ve had reptiles, amphibians, fish, birds and more. I currently have 2 dogs, a scorpion, and a hedgehog. I love animals and understand how working a full time job, kids, and vacations, and sick days can cause a need for a pet sitter! I currently work for an animal shelter and I am trained in animal care for feeding, giving medications, slip leads, make shift harnesses, and dog and cat body language. I also work in exam and can notice any medical issues right away and give you a sense of security in knowing your animal will be taken care of to the highest level as they were my own pets.

I never leave dogs outside alone as anything can happen in a blink of an eye. During potty breaks, I am always by watching them to make sure they do not eat anything harmful or try to escape. All animals will have a lot of play time with fresh clean water before an after running around! I’m also aware that not all dogs are friendly to strangers and other dogs and know how to muzzle dogs if yours is muzzle trained to be outside.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors to watch out for. If your puppy is still working on potty training, please let me know, but I also keep puppy pads on hand! Please let me know if any medications and special food diets as well as I understand some babies have sensitive stomachs and skin issues.
A typical day
We love walks through Harbison Pond and River Walk. If your dog is neutered/spayed we love dog park trips as well! I’m constantly buying toys as mine go through them like crazy, but we love playing fetch! I can also keep up with specific training you have in place such as teaching to sit, wait, lay down!

My schedule does change slightly during the weeks. I work Sundays-Tuesdays, but will have availability for 4 days out of the week where I’ll keep my calendar updated.
