Working with dogs is my dream.
Pet care experience
I have been working at Lakes Region Pet Resort for the past year and a half caring for dogs/cats during an overnight shift. Unfortunately I was never able to have a dog of my own but every chance I could grasp to interact with animals I seized. My dream is to work with dogs for the rest of my life and am seeking to fill all my time with gaining experience towards that goal.

Shane responded to my request right away. He is very responsive and reliable. Also, very accommodating if his schedule allows. Once he was with our pup, he was very patient and eventually won him over. We will use Shane again and highly recommend him.

Walks will take place in close proximity to the home with potential of trails with owner permission. Dogs will always be leashed during walks. Dogs will always be buckled in/crated if traveling. I can keep in close contact and send lots of pictures at owner request. During first meetups more safety expectations can be discussed.

A typical day
Walks will be relaxing set at a medium pace with training breaks in-between (permitted by owner). I enjoy playing tug of war with dogs and fetch is also another great way to expend energy. If your dog loves either let me know and it can be incorporated into our time.

Availability
I currently work five days a week, two overnight shifts at a doggy daycare and boarding facility. I have mornings available between 8-10:30 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Afternoons available between 2-10 on Tuesday and Thursday. Weekend availability is open for discussion.
