Hello, my name is Shane and I almost love the company of dogs more than people. Through my childhood, I grew up with two Shelties at two different times. The first dog I grew up with was named Teddy. His was not only our family dog, but he was also my mothers companion. Every time we went camping, he was there. Every time I had to stay home from an illness, he was there. Every time my sister and I had to hide in the basement durring a tornado, he was there. He was always with us, until he had cancer and passes. After his passing my mother and father saw that my sister and I missed having a dog, so one day they went out and got a pure bread Shelty. He was suppose to be a show dog, but I made him into a clown. We named him Robin. Everyday I spent time with Robin. Running around the back yard, trying to see how rialed up I could get him, bring him up to the couch with me to watch a movie or simply playing tug of war, always letting him win once in a while to keep his self-esteem up. Robin, like Teddy, was our family dog, but he was my companion.
